MURALS

Marjoriet Gueche creates custom, hand-painted murals that transform schools, libraries, businesses, and community spaces through color, storytelling, and imagination.
Every mural begins with the people and purpose behind the space. Marjoriet works closely with each client to understand their vision, community, environment, and practical needs before developing an original design created specifically for them. Projects may include full-room transformations, feature walls, educational artwork, environmental graphics, donor recognition, photo moments, and collaborative mural experiences for students.
Her growing public-art portfolio includes murals for the Fairview Free Public Library, Fort Lee Public Library, Rutherford Public Library, Riverdale Public School, and the Academy of St. James. She was also awarded a Bergen County Arts Grant to create a community mural for the Fairview Free Public Library.
Marjoriet’s work is rooted in storytelling, representation, and the belief that thoughtfully designed spaces can help people feel welcomed, inspired, and connected. She paints under the name Pupurishu—a childhood nickname given to her by her late father and now carried through everything she creates.
Pupurishu Studios serves schools, libraries, businesses, and community organizations throughout Bergen and Hudson Counties, with projects outside the area considered based on location and availability.
